Isabelle Glacier.
At 12100ft this glacier is immediately east of the Continental Divide, so water from this glacier drains into Atlantic ocean!
There were red stains on the glacier which made me think it might be some mineral deposits. Searching around I was not able to find anything related to Isabelle Glacier specifically, though there is a mention of #glacierblood in the French Alps. "Glacier Blood" is result of an #algae reacting to pollution and global warming. The Algae release 'carotenoids' (carrots have these too) while reacting to intense light and ultraviolet radiation at high altitudes. Surprisingly this algae is found only at sea, how it ended up on the glacier is currently being studied by scientists. Check #alpalga project.
I was not able to confirm if these red stains in Isabelle glacier are like the one in Alps, if you find any information do let me know.
